huh. I really don't know. It definitely seems too early for it to be implantation. I once got AF two weeks early, but that was only because i was messing with BC that month.
Sorry I can't be more help... 
Maybe you could call your gyno. I did that when my AF unexpectedly showed. She said it was fine though and that I shouldn't be concerned unless it didn't stop (like it lasted longer than a regular period should). Maybe s/he can give you some answers if you're concerned about it.
