DP (dear pets) in/on baby stuff?

how do you keep them out of cribs, off swings, out of basinettes? my cats just love to curl up anywhere soft so im sure this will be an issue.

we have our infant car seat in my bedroom currently (with a blanket over it to keep fur/dust off) and my tabby thinks its her new bed! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

what do i do?!

We're going to put blankets on everything, but I'm sure that will become a PITA real fast.

I honestly don't know what we are going to do. We have 2 cats, and they think they own everything.

Re: DP (dear pets) in/on baby stuff?

this is what weve being doing with my glider for MONTHS

i have a towel and change it once or twice a week, to keep fur directly off of it. it works fine for now since only my cat sits on it Chat Icon but as soon as I start using it with the baby its going to be a huge issue. my DH says well just shave them Chat Icon Chat Icon

but in all seriousness, IDK what to do

Good question.

I have 4 cats in my 2 bedroom apartment. Chat Icon

My MIL was going to take 3 of them, but has since changed her mind. I don't know what we're going to do, either. DH will be vacuuming and dusting- every.single.day.Chat Icon

we kept the door to the nursery shut, but all the stuff that was in the living room, we let the cat sniff and lay on. a little cat hair on his toys didn't bother me.

As I bring new toys/baby things in my dog wants to play with it all. I tell her no and give her her own toys. I also try to get her new stuff as new baby things come in.

My cats love to sit on everything and I know they are going to be desperate to explore. I am going to keep the door shut to the nursery and hopefully train them not to go on the baby's stuff. I am not confident that they will listen so I am going with the vacuum frequently option!
