another car seat question

I have the Triumph also and LOVE it. BUt I am afraid DS is growing out of it. He is 3 years old, 31 pounds, and 38 inches. How do I know when he has outgrown it? What does he move too next?

Re: another car seat question

He would move into a booster seat.. I perfer the full back ones with a full harness. Just seems safer IMO at such a young age. After that they move to a backless booster that uses the car's seat belt across them.

40 lbs and up! Or if his head is above the car seat. My daughter is 3, weighs 29 lbs, but she is short so she'll stay put for the next year or so, then into a booster

like head totally above the seat? I think I heard somewhere if his ears were above the car seat. Have you heard that?

Re: another car seat question

Yes, it's ears at the top of the seat. I have my manual in the car and I can type exactly what it says. I know it's 40 pounds and 40 inches.

I posted a couple days ago about feedback on Combo Booster seats, but no one really left any. With a little research, it seems Evenflo Chase and Generations is ranked pretty well.
