TMI about BD and bleeding

So I am at CD 27 and 8 DPO. Last night DH and I BD'd and after there was bright red blood. My cycles are 32 days so I'm not due to get AF until Friday. This totally freaked me out. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Re: TMI about BD and bleeding

I have had plenty of months when DH and I would BD before an expected AF and it would onset it even if I wasn't due for another couple of days. I'm not sure why this happens, but I assume it is normal. My logic is (and not to be too graphic) once you have an "o" Chat Icon your uterus/cervix contract and it may trigger some bleeding due to AF. BUT - this is just my personal theory and by NO MEANS an expert opinion. Sorry I cannot be of more help but I just wanted to let you know that I have experienced this before and it usually is no big deal. Chat Icon

chances are the bleeding is caused by him hitting your cervix during BD. could happen when your cervix is low or just due to position you BD'd in. i wouldnt worry about it assuming it goes away or turns into a normal AF. this happens to me on occasion as well.

if it looks significantly different than anything else you have seen and is for a prolonged period and if there is cramping or anything else that seems off to you then i would call the doc.
