I don't know what to make of this (AF related)
Last month was my first month off BCP. AF was due yesterday (always 28 days on the BCP). I had some light blood when I wiped (sorry for the TMI) a couple times last night, but nothing heavy. Sometimes it would start like that and then be heavy the morning after, but this morning it's still the same. I have cramps and the bloating like AF, but not as bad as usual. Is this considered spotting or just a light AF? Does yesterday count as CD1? I'm hoping it gets heavier today so we can start trying again.
Oh and btw, I'm out obviously.

What DPO are you? After coming off of BCP you can be irregular so it's hard to say when AF is really due. I have brownish spotting before AF so it could be AF coming. Or it could be implantation spotting since PMS/AF symptoms can also be pregnancy symptoms. Good luck!

I'm 16 DPO today. If I were on BCP still AF would have come yesterday/today so she's right on time (thankfully). Today there's a little more and it's mostly brown, but the flow is still not what I usually have. AF was weird last month also, only lasting 2 1/2 - 3 days instead of the normal 5.

I found that i was somewhat regular for 3 mos coming off BC (rmeaning that it was similar timing to when i was on BC).
However in the 4th month, things went all out of whack and AF came really early (CD 23). since then, she usually comes CD 26 - CD 28.
I too sometimes get a few brown bits as a precursor to AF, but you shouldn't consider it CD1 until you have red blood flow (at least thats what i've heard)

in other words.. your body may be just adjusting itself to being off BC and AF may be irregular for a few months before settling into any sort of regularity. Don't stress too much about exact timing of it as you'll drive yourself crazy

How annoying... I actually wouldn't count CD 1 until you get an actual red flow. If however, it turns out that all you get is like a light flow like you have now, then yes, I would count yesterday as CD1... makes sense?

Yeah, makes sense. I'm back to just spotting and now it's red, not brown. I don't know. This is just annoying.
