16 and pregnant on MTV??
Wow....never saw it but watching it now...I can't imagine, I am 32 and preggo w/ 1st one, I am double their age...must be so hard for them.

they're babies having babies. im feeling overwhelmed now, i dont even want to imagine what it would be like to go through this while still in high school.
some episodes, i feel like it glorifies teen pregnancy.

I like watching it too, though it is quite depressing in a lot of the cases. There were girls having babies at my high school, now I can see what they were going through! I'm definitely pregnant at the right time in my life!

I feel so bad for some of those girls. The ones who really step up and try to do the right thing while the baby daddy just lays on the couch and complains!
It's also what helps me get through the idea of giving birth. If they can do it- I can do it!

Yes, because we all know teenage girls impregnate themselves.

I'm addicted to this show. Especially since they show the delivery and the baby being born.
I think it sort of glorifies teen pregnancy, which makes me nervous. I wonder if 16 year olds watching understand how hard it really is or just see it as exciting. I'm glad they are doing an episode featuring adoption.

I don't think it really glorifies it. It doesn't make it look horrible, but they do show the strain it has on relationships and how your life becomes all about the baby.
