what do you think this means?
I am right now on CD12 (of a 28 day cycle). I woke up this morning with EWCM but the OPK gave me negative for O-ing.
I've only been using the OPK for a little while (last month and now this one) and have never gotten a positive yet. So I'm not sure if it just isn't working for me 
What do you think? Could i be O-ing right now even tho the OPK tells me different?? Or should i just trust the OPK and wait for a positive? Very very confused.

I'm trying to figure out if I should test again later today or just wait and do it again tomorrow. I keep not wanting to 'waste' all the tests I have left  but i also don't want to miss our opportunity

I usually have EWCM for a few days before O. You'll know when you get your surge, if you test at the same time every day you should catch part of it.
ETA- I would BD anyway because you have the EWCM.

you should never use FMU for OPKs! i bet if you hold your urine for 4 hours and test again this afternoon you'll see a positive, or at least a darker line. 
LH is metabolized in your urine later in the day so you will not get a true positive until after 12pm normally.
ETA: i will say, however, that EWCM is always, always the best indicator of Oing and i would BD tonight if you can, and on the day that you do get the positive OPK.

I'm using the store brand One Step Ovulation Test. It has an oval and a square. If the band in the square is the same color or darker than the one in the oval than I'll be ovulating in 24-48 hours.
I always get a light pink line. It's never as dark as the one in the oval, so I assume that means it's a no-go.

its possible that by testing with FMU you might have missed your surge last month.
i would hold your urine for 3-4 hours and test again this afternoon. good luck!

welp... I tested again this afternoon and another negative. Who knows what's going on. I only have 1 test left, so I'll take it again tomorrow. If I can i'll run out and get more on Wednesday, but I might just give up on the OPKs since they just make me CRAZY! lol.
I think we'll be BDing as much as we can this week anyhow, since I'm sure I'll O at some point within these next few days

The EWCM that I found this morning was ONLY there this morning. i haven't experienced it the rest of the day. Do you think that's normal? I've never paid much attention to it before I started TTC so I'm not sure how it regularly is for me.
But JUST in the morning and no other time of the day? I'll see if it comes back tomorrow. But odd that it was here and then immediately gone

nope! We've been busy lately and haven't had time. I think the last night we BD'd was maybe 3 or 4 days ago. I don't even think he came in me either because he wanted to wait until I was O-ing. So can't be "leftovers".
Not sure why it was only there this morning tho and not any other part of the day. Or why I won't get a positive on the OPK. I'm sure I'll be O-ing this week tho, so we'll just BD as much as we can and see what happens

I agree. I get EWCM a couple of days before I O as well.
Me too. Always a 2 or 3 days before O.

Like other girls have said, OPK's are better at detecting LH in the afternoon. Go to your local Dollar Tree and buy them there. They are just as good and a LOT cheaper 
EWCM for me is there a few days before my OPK+ I've read that it's your body gearing up to O and that sperm can live 3-5 days in "prime conditions" (EWCM) I've also noticed that for me, checking internally is better then externally most of the time. If you're checking externally that might be why it seems like it "disappeared"
I think the last night we BD'd was maybe 3 or 4 days ago. I don't even think he came in me either because he wanted to wait until I was O-ing. So can't be "leftovers".
Waiting is not good for him to do !! The longer he goes without "finishing" the worse the sperm quality will be. From what I read every 48-72 hours will "refresh" the quality of his sperm.
