Could it be a positive? UPDATE
So I tested yesterday morning about 1 something. I checked the test and only saw one line so I threw it away. Wen't back to sleep, went to work last night, and I just got home. I looked in the trash and decided to look at the test again for the heck of it. I saw one line, but before throwing back in the trash I had to do a double look b/c I thought I saw something. So I held it closer to the light and there seems to be a really really really faint line. It's almost as if it is not there, but it is (don't know if that made sense). So I took out my positive test from two years ago (I know gross, but I miscarried and decided to keep it) to see if the distance from the negative line to the positive line is the same distance between the negative line and the really really really faint line that I see b/c I was thinking that it could be an evaporation line. But it is the same distance. I don't want to get my hopes up at all. I don't feel anything besides some mild cramping that started a couple of days ago and I have been feeling like AF is going to come, but hasn't. I am suppose to be getting her any day now my cycle lenght is anywhere from 30 days to 34 days. Today is cd 31
*******************************
So I just couldn't wait. I took a digital test a little after my last post and it said..............PREGNANT! I still can't believe it! I cried, jumped, and twirle around I rushed in the shower, got dressed, and went to Kmart. I bought new born baby diapers, a birthday, and some tissue. I placed everything in the bag along with the test and rushed onto base (my husband is an active duty Marine). Once I got there I gave the bag to one of the Marines asked him to give it to Sgt Iribe and to tell him that it was an early bday present. I waited out in the hallway for what seemed to be a lifetime, but then he walked out teary eyed and with a big smile on his face. We are both super excited. I really want this to work out for us this time. I can't be afraid anymore. If it is God's will then I will have a baby in my arms 9 months from now. I have a feeling that God is going to let us keep our baby/ies this time. I say babies cause last time we were pregnant with twins. So some questions.... My appointment with my family doctor is not until the 6th. I have been cramping, which I know is normal, but I have not spotted yet. I spotted the last time. Then again I spotted the whole time I was pregnant till I miscarried. If I do spot how long am I suppose to spot for? I also have no symptoms except for the fact that I feel like I am going to get AF and feeling really hungry at times. And there is one thing that I am really worried about. I took a percocet and muscle relaxer the other day. I get really bad chest pains. I have been diagnosed with a condition, but I don't know how to spell it. My doctor prescribed me percocet and muscle relaxers for when I have really bad pain. I am worried that it will affect my pregnancy since I took some the other day I guess I can't really worry until I am in the doctors office. Thanks ladies for all the good wishes

Re: Could it be a positive?
i personally have never seen an evap line so i don't know what to tell you, but the test i took last week at 12DPO was so incredibly faint i thought i was seeing things. i took a digital test right away and it came up positive!
so if you can wait a day or two test again, the line should be much darker

Re: Could it be a positive?
Something similar happened to me. I got a BFN and threw it out. But i was SOOOOO convinced i was preg so i went back into the bathroom later on. I saw the faintest line. I thought it could be an evap so i did all this research. I was so unsure. The next AM i took another test- BFN. I was DEVASTATED but still so convinced. SO i went out and bought FRER and well.... Im 20 wks pregnant now
So IMO, youre pregnant

Re: Could it be a positive?
if hours and hours went by, it could be an evap line and therefore not reliable.
i would test again with a digital to be sure.

Re: Could it be a positive?
I had a very similar experience. I took at a test and it was negative so I threw it out. Over 2 hours later i decided to check it for the heck of it, and there was the faintest line ever. I thought I was seeing things. So I went out and got a digital, and it came out BFN. I was so mad at myself for checking the test after that much time. I tested again two days later and the line did not show right away. I was so disappointed with giving into the temptation to test since I just knew I was not pregnant I walked away and made myself a cup of coffee. Came back 10 minutes later to throw the test out. Well there was a faint faint line again. So I took the digital and this time it was a BFP! I am now almost 14 weeks pregnant! :)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Lots of sticky dust for you!!! That was a really cute way to tell your DH and I love how he came out all teary eyed
The 6th is only a week away, but that can feel like forever when you have questions and concerns. Why not give them a call and see if they can answer your question about the pills you took?
GOOD LUCK and Congrats again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Could it be a positive? UPDATE
first of all congrats!!!
secondly, do not worry about the meds you took before you knew you were pregnant. you do not share a blood supply with the baby until 6 weeks so the baby is fine.
as for the spotting, i never had any spotting with my first DC and so far none with this one, so i cannot help you there. lots of women spot a LOT and go on to have healthy, full-term babies.
many many congrats and i wish you the best of luck!!
