Is it tacky to register early?
I am only in my 2nd trimester, won't find out the sex for another month, but I thought maybe I should start registering on - line, just basic stuff that I know I will need until I find out the sex of the baby. I know my shower will be early because I can't have it in July and I am due 1st week in Sept. I just know I will be doing it alone so is it tacky? If someone knew I already started - I think I'd be embarassed, but from what I read on here, it takes a long time to do!

I dont see why not! Go for it.
The only reason I waited was because I wanted to know the baby's sex first.

It's not tacky. It takes time to register for everything you are going to need.

It's not tacky at all. I started at 14 weeks, and finished at 21-22 weeks. It took me awhile cause i researched everything!

I started registering very early around 12 weeks or so. I knew it would take me awhile to complete it so I needed to start early.
