repost- when should I test?
I had BTB IUIs last Monday and Tuesday. We are leaving for Florida on Saturday. Should I test before we leave, on vacation or wait until we get home? A part of me wants to wait until we're home again, but at the same time, part of me just wants to know if it worked. Plus, DH and I are drinkers- beers at the pool, wine with dinner. I don't want to be boozing it up if I'm preggo, but I don't want to refrain if I'm not. What would you do?

That would put you at what, 11DPO?ish
I don't think it hurts to test at that point. I didn't get a BFP at 11DPO but I did at 13DPO.
If i was you I'd test before I left, bring another test with me and test again in a couple of days while I was away. Don't alter your schedule until you see a BFP :)

If I were to test Friday, that would be 10-11DPO. Otherwise I would try to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday which would be about when AF would be due.

This happened to me and I tested before I went on vacation (actually honeymoon). So I didn't drink and was in lala land thinking and planning for the baby the whole trip.
I would test before. Good Luck!

That's what I would do. I would probably test before I left, but if it's a BFN, I'd probably test again2 days later.

first of all, you can drink in the 2ww..you dont share blood or anything until 5-6 weeks i think,
i got BFN 11dpo and BFP 13 dpo.
So the longer you can hold out the better.

4 days before AF is due.
test, if neg, drink and have fun.
then test when you come home, if positive then great, you already celebrated!
you know as well as I do that we can't put things on hold. go about your vacation, have a great time
