Backyard Christening - need ideas for centerpieces
Anyone have any ideas for Christening centerpieces? It will be in our backyard at the end of June. I want something pretty, but not a ton of work.
TIA

Re: Backyard Christening - need ideas for centerpieces
I just had cookie centerpieces made from EatSomethingCute.com... check them out! Four centerpieces (cookies in the shape of flowers with monogrammed crosses in the middle) and twenty additional monogrammed cross cookies was 200.00. Jean did an amazing job.

Since its in the summertime, you could probably just do a nice potted live plant/flower

I bought the ribbon and watering cans at Michael's and LA Blossom did the CPs. You could easily do them yourself. The roses were supposed to be lavender.

I love that idea if I went to a backyard christening I WOULD love to be able to take home a live plant...
I had small containers from ikea 69 cents and violets and I had them across the table and then I made cupcakes and ordered some sugar violets and put them on the cupcakes...
I say go with the live potted plant

Where can you order sugar flowers for cupcakes? I ordered 50 vanilla cupcakes with white frosting, but was going to decorate them myself with just some colored sugar or something. But that sounds so pretty.
