Car Insurance - Who's better?
State Farm
Geico
Progressive
I'm in NC though, so I'm sure that's a bit different. Just in general, who's rates and service are better? We want to change companies. Thanks!

Out of all of the ones you listed, we got a better deal with Geico.... more coverage for less than what the others were offering.
In all honesty though, you should call each one and get a quote and then do some comparing between price and coverage.

Any big name like the three of those is fine- I would figure out how much insurance you need and do it on price
we have geico and have been very happy- we have been through three claims (2 glass, and dh was in an accident and got sued)- they were great in all cases hth

I would say Geico but when it was time to renew without doing anything wrong in our time there 4-5 years with 2 cars on the policy, i told them to take the $600 price difference from 2 other major companies and go for a walk..
We now use Esurance and 2 events that we had were flawless... claim adjuster to check out a hit and run that happened to us 2 days later (1 day i was trying to bring it to them) and gave me a code to get my class replaced.

I would call and compare. I was with Geico but, when we got married I switched to Allstate (DH is brand loyal and we got a better deal through them - and since we don't live on LI, we have them for homeowners too).

State Farm or Allstate...
DH is a police officer and he always says that those two are the easiest to deal with for accidents.
I have Geico (have had it since before we got married) and he keeps harassing me to change it. It is the cheapest I think...

they kept me when travelers dropped me
my rates didn't even sky rocket considering the situation- it's impressive
