My parents were married in 75 at 20 and 21 years old. I was born is 79 and am the oldest so they were 24 and 25. Im now 30 and my parents are still in there 50s.
Thats totally the norm I think, at least among my friends (unless they are the youngest sibling)

It was th exact opposite. I have plenty of Aunts and Great AUnts that knew their DH's from jr. high and HS and got married very young.

My mom got married 3 days after my mom's 22nd birthday- and had me by age 25. My dad was 25 when they got married.
My inlaws were 18 when they got married and 21 when they had DH!

Is she kidding!!! Both my mom and mil are in their 50's, both got married at 17 and had their first babies by 18!!
My mom said that was the norm back then!! By 1978 she had 4 kids and was done!! While your co worker was still slutting around town!!

My parents were married at 20 and had 2 kids by the time they were 24. They are in their mid 50's. She's the one who is the oddball.

She's crazy! My mom was 20 when she got married in 1976 and had me at 21.
She'll be 54 in October. I just turned 32 and my youngest brother is 21.

My mom had me at 29 and had my brother at 23/22 (not exactly sure) she was married by 21. This was 1978 when she had my brother.
I got married at 23, had my 1st at 23 and will have my second at 24.
People consider me to be really young but i think a lot of people are just not sure of what they want or dont have anyone to marry in their early 20s. Heck some women are 40 and sitll think it is not time.

I'm 38, my sister is 32 and my brother is 29. She was done having by the time she was 29.
She was 19 when she got married and just about 21 when she had me.

I think that the woman has an issue with you that she is not expressing, something unrelated to your parents ages or what time you go to bed. She is not ready to get to whatever her real issue is, for whatever reason.
Some of the responses here are inconsiderate of the life choices of other people.

My mom was married at 22 had my sis at 23 and my father was 26 married, and 27 when sis was born. My dad is now 67. Not sure if thats your parents age group.

They got married when my mom was 19, dad was 22.
Yes...they are still married.
They had me in 1973...mom was 23, dad was 26.

Actually, Nope...not really. We are usually very good friends at work with the MAJOR excpetion of todays disagreement which is about my mother which is a no enter zone. Shes in my office all the time BSing...nothing to do with me. I think she is bitter about the topic bc she is not the norm and she may feel guilty. Thats where its stemming from.

My mom (who is now almost 53) got married at 19, had me at 20 and by 26 was done having kids. (me, my brother and sister) Times were different. People got married younger.

ETA: My mom married my dad when she was 27 and had me when she was 30. My MIL got married at 20 and had my BIL a year later.
