Exersaucer or Jumparoo - need which first?

we can do one or the other right now - but not both....which do you think would be wiser to get first?

We're not sure which will be used sooner than the other.....

Re: Exersaucer or Jumparoo - need which first?

We did the exersaucer first and then a little while later I bought a jumperoo from someone on here. We couldn't spend the money on both but Kaydyn really liked both.

Re: Exersaucer or Jumparoo - need which first?

I purchased the jumperoo from someone on here about 2 weeks ago. My DS has been usingit since last week and loves it. I am getting a Exersaucer tonight from craigslist for my mothers house.

I don't have the space at my apt for both.

Exercaucer. I felt the Jumperoo caused too much "wobbling" in the beginning.

Never had a jumperoo but friends did. The exersaucer is better in the beginning.

Re: Exersaucer or Jumparoo - need which first?

DS is 4.5 months old. We don't have a jumperoo, but daycare has one. The teachers have put him in it, but he just sits there and looks at the lights. He doesn't really get the jumping part yet. DS absolutely loves the exercauser though. We have one at home and daycare has one too. When DH picked DS up from daycare yesterday, he was holding onto the exercauser and didn't want to get out. Chat Icon I'd definitely recommend getting the exercauser.

We only used a Jumperoo and Athan loved it! Started using it at about 4 months. We saw no need for an Exercauser too.

Re: Exersaucer or Jumparoo - need which first?

i've always thought she'll 'need' a jumperoo...this may sound silly...but i laugh a LOT.... one of the huge things i love about dave is that we laugh more than normal....if i'm not laughing at least once an hour he'll do a stupid face or SOMETHING to make me laugh or at least smile (now so more than ever because i'm in excruciating pain)...so i figured the 'movement' in my belly when i laugh is equivalent to a jumperoo (but i could be certifiably insane)...

as it stands now - i think we'll go exersaucer...thank you girls as ALWAYS for the words of wisdom! i cannot wait to officially 'join' this board!

this was true for us too - our exersaucer is more "open" than our jumperoo, and DS did much better in the jumper. (i tried putting him in a friend's exersaucer a short time after he started using the jumperoo and he did NOT like it). now he loves it!

Re: Exersaucer or Jumparoo - need which first?

Exersaucer...my DD loved hers. She started using it around 4 months and used it up till about 9 months. She wasn't a huge fan of the Jumperoo which we got around 6 months.
