when u were pg with your first DC , did you want a boy or a girl?

I know, I know , it doesn't matter .
But deep inside your heart which did you want?
When I was prego and people asked if I wanted a boy or a girl I always said "as long as it's healthy , it doesn't matter to me" which was/is VERY true , that's the only thing I cared about .
But somewhere in my head and my heart I always wanted a girl even when I was a little girl(playing house) I always said I wanted to have a girl .
What about you?

I dont think I ever WANTED one over hte other simply because well before I was pregnant or even thought of TTC I was always convinced that I would have all boys. So when I got pregnant I just thought "I am having a boy"

DH wanted a girl though.

Like you said, after all the "I just want a healthy baby" which was THE most important thing, I wanted to have a baby boy and called the baby a "he" from the moment I found out. And I did in fact have a . Should I be blessed with another baby some day, I would love to have another .

Just like the others, I didn't want either one over the other, I just felt the baby was going to be a boy...even though I only ever pictured myself with girls...that makes no sense, does it?

Deep in my heart I wanted a girl. DH really wanted a boy, so it made me feel bad that I really wanted a girl. I felt like I could relate better to girls, even with teaching I make a better connection with the girls than the boys. However, if we were blessed with a boy, I would have been just as happy.

When I first found out I was pregnant I really wanted a girl. The last 5 or 6 kids born into my family were boys so we needed one...lol. As time went on I "knew" I was having a boy...I just felt it. After that I was 100% happy with having a boy and that's what I ended up having. For a second I think I want another boy for Rylan to have a brother. A girl would be great too though.

For my 1st, I obviously wanted a healthy baby, but secretly wished for a boy. and now that I have my little man, I would love another one someday for him to have a brother. I've always pictured myself with 2 boys. and besides, that way I would still be the QUEEN
the flip side, I have a very close relationship with my mom and would like that someday for myself.

so I guess either way

I wanted a girl, but I knew DH wanted a boy so I wanted that for him.

I felt deep down that it was going to be a girl and turns out we had a girl! my instinct was correct

I never wanted one over the other with my first and now that I'm PG with #2 I still don't want one over the other.

Funny because some people are hoping I I have a girl 2nd time around and it really doesn't matter to me if I have another boy or if I have a girl. I want a healthy baby just like my first.

Boy all the way.... I have no idea why. We did not find out the gender, but for the whole pregnancy, I just *knew* it was a boy, even gravitated to boy bedding (although we went neutral).... MY DH made it known that he was wanting a boy too!

Now when I got PG with #2, all I wanted was a girl since I had the boy already.

Got it exactly how I wanted it!

I knew it was from the beginning. I was happy. I was to much of a witch to have a girl, Karma would kill me.

I wanted a girl. I love everything girly, ruffles, bows, etc.

But I have a boy and wouldn't trade him in for anything. I love being the mother of a boy.

I actually wanted a girl so i could dress her up but i am very happy that i have my boy hes great and very easy to please.

It really didn't matter to us since we would love to have both a boy and a girl

But, once I knew it was a girl I was so excited to do everything "girly"

I know deep down if I never had the chance to be a mother to a girl I would have been disappointed...

For any future children, it won't matter again because as much as I would love a boy too, I would love to see Abigail with a little sister...

It REALLY didn't matter to me because of this reasoning.....
I always wanted a boy first because that's what I grew up with, and older "protector" brother.
But I wanted a girl because if I had a girl.....I knew I had my girl, KWIM?

To answer your question though

baby #1-I honestly didn't care. I secretly didn't wish for one over the other. I had a

baby #2 I secretly wanted a so my other DD had a sister.

baby #3 I secretly wanted another for the same reasons

baby #4 I honestly don't care. I'm ready for a boy if that is what we get this time around. I'm blessed all around.

Happy and healthy is most important but if I had a choice of a happy and healthy boy versus a happy and healthy girl, I wanted a girl. I would have been happy no matter what of course but I just really saw myself with daughters.

Same thing this pregnancy. I can only wrap my brain around having a girl, but of course would love a boy just as much.
