Just got a call that I wasn't ready for...UPDATE
My father just called and my step-mother's brother was just murdered.  I can't get into anything right now since there are investigations going on, but I've never heard my father cry and he couldn't stop when he told me. It's not fair that some one that was a great person deserves this.
Please pray for my step-mother and her family that they ruin this kids life who took his life. 
I'm just really worried about my father too because he had a massive heart attack the end of last year and almost didn't make it. He had to retire because of his health and I'm nervous this is going to cause another attack.

My father said the neighbor (25 years old) has been in and out of jail. His mother overheard him on the phone saying he was going to rob and possibly kill the neighbor. When he left she called my step-mother's brother to warn him. She didn't get an answer so she called the police. It was too late.  I'm going to leave out the details as to how he was found, but the police arrested him on the spot.
It's just horrible that if they were there only a couple of minutes, even seconds, his life could have been saved.
It disgusts me because this was over an ATM card. The kid wanted money for drugs and this is what he did to get it.
