Our Money Pit
This is what I'm going to call our house from now on....The Money Pit! 
Well the pool came down over the last couple of days. 
This is what it looked like
This is what happened to it over the winter....rusted.
And this is what the rust looked like from the inside under the liner. Wonder why we couldn't keep the water in it last year. 
Taking it down!
And of course my house wouldn't be complete without some more toy and junk finds under the decking.
We found the other Barbies head
Another Barbie, but we can't find her leg
Barbie & Cars
Junk.....don't even ask me how that ball got under the deck, because the pool went right up to the deck. LOL!
We will be taking down the deck this weekend hopefully. Then the yard will be leveled out.

She is, isn't she.
Yup the yard is going to be huge when done. Any thoughts! What would you do with it? I'm thinking grass, some nice longe chairs and we are transplanting our ornamental grass front the front yard to the backyard. The ornamental grass will go along the back fence and I think we will put some pea gravel down. Make it feel like a vacation a little.

it will be awesome after we fill with dirt, level, grow grass and then relax in the lounge chairs I'm dreaming of right now in the shade.

GEESHHHHHHHH what did the old owners have against barbies...you can start a collection with all the "pieces" you have found in your yard alone.
On a positive note, your backyard is going to look AWSOME when done, so you def have something to look forward to!! As i go thru the remolding phase, i have to keep reminding myself, it will look worse before it will look better !

But your yard will look GREAT once you are done! As gross as it is.........isn't it nice to know you got rid of someone elses' crap and start with new and CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the furniture you posted looks miniature...like for Barbie's Dream Mansion.  
Can't wait to see the yard when it's de-Barbified and beautiful!

I think the older brothers probably throw the Barbies down there and the little girls went back and throw the boys cars down there.

I believe me I completely understand what you are saying. It will always look worse before better. But in the end we are all happy when it is what "we" want and not the previous owners. I won't be happy until every little thing of the previous owners is gone. Boy do I have a long road ahead of me.  But I have to laugh or I will

I am just in over all this crap you keep finding in your yard. I mean, is it ever going to end?? It looks like an 80's toy burial ground

Looks like the pool demolition was tough on barbie too!
Barbie looks like what I would probably feel like after all that work
It's going to be beautiful!
dont be sad about the pool. you can always put one back the way YOU want it set up
