Ah train 'em while they're young.
Joseph was snuggled up next to me on the couch tonight when I mentioned that he's a really great snuggler just like his dad - which then led to what a great husband Daddy is, how he tells me he loves me every day & that he's lucky to have us, etc.
Then he said "I'm worried about when I get married."
I thought he was worried about having to move out of the house again, something that has repeatedly come up when he discusses his career options of mad scientist (where he would have to work nights) or joining the army (where he has to get up early because the army fights in the mornings).
Nope.
He's worried "about what to do with his wife." I was a little stunned, thinking what are the second graders discussing during recess & I am so not ready for this talk
Then he said "I'm worried because I don't cook. I can't remember all of the food Daddy makes & what he puts in the stuff. He makes you fancy dinners" 
Sooo, I told him not to worry. He has plenty of time to study recipes & learn how to cook - and maybe sometimes his wife *might* cook too.

My DS is only 1, but I love the window you & others on this site provide to us to having an older child and the things they think about----this story made me smile, your son is adorable!
