im officially done breast feeding. ive made it 1 year.
i am doing a slow transition to whole milk for baby michael. i finished breast feeding today and he will be 1 year old on thursday.

Great job! My plan is to stop at 1 year also. As of next week I'll only have 3 months left. It makes me sad just thinking about it.

my freakin boobs are killing me. any suggestions on how to ease the pain. i bfed for 1 year for my daughter but forgot how painful it was.

I plan on dropping 1 feeding per week. The last to go will be the one before bed at night.

thanks ladies. i havent put the machine away yet. i am hoping that the next week is not painful for me. im already dreading going to sleep becuase i sleep on my stomach.

That's great!!!! You should be so proud!
Gavin just nurses in the morning and at night. I stopped pumping about 2 or 3 weeks ago and I love not pumping!!!!!
If he wants to continue to nurse morning and at night I'll continue, but did I tell you I love not pumping!!!!!!lol

when I weaned my kid was far from being over it. All my energy went on him and avoiding him....so I could not concentrate on my boobs...but I used ice packs, ibprofren, cabbage leaves.
