I was just playing around online and found this...FDA approved but freaked me out a bit...what's everyone's thoughts?

no way.
i get that it's all "natural" but for ME i want to be surprised! i want to take a chance. i want making babies to be fun, and all i want is a healthy baby - i do not care what sex it is!
but i do not see anything wrong with someone else using it.

I wouldn't use it, but if someone wants to, be my guest.

No I wouldn't use it but I'm curious if it's as effective as they claim it is.

Not for me thank you-but we did play around with the timing in our early TTC days (well, I did DH was my innocent victim), but that is where I draw the line.
TTC has turned into enough of a chemistry experiment with OPKs, preseed and POAs constantly, I don't need to get hung up on the gender.

Re: Your Thoughts...GenSelect Kit with Poll!
If you read online it says:
19. Is the GenSelect Fully Integrated System approved by the FDA? The GenSelect Home Kit components for gender selection which require FDA approval have been awarded that distinction. These are the digital basal body temperature thermometer and the ovulation predictors, which are FDA approved for their intended uses in gender selection (baby sex selection). The douche and Nutriceuticals do not require FDA approval, but they follow DSHEA (Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act) guidelines and are manufactured and produced in FDA-approved facilities utilizing CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Processes) guidelines.
So basically only the BBT and OPKs are FDA approved - and who needs a kit for that?
And I see the mention of douching.. which is really not recommended for people who are TTC.
This just doesn't seem right to me. IMO!

ITA...kinda far-fetched. Seems like it's wayyy too much money and wayyy too high of a percentage to me. I wouldn't trust it.
