Re: SA
My DH had to drop it off at a branch of Quest- I *think* it was in Huntington.
The rest of the times the RE did them.

Re: SA
My DH went to a Urologist and they gave him a prescription to go to Quest. It should cost $15 (the copay).

Re: SA
I had both done at an outpatient lab at nearby hospitals.
I believe you can call Quest..they take insurance plans.
See if your local hospital has an outpatient lab. as long as you have the form from the dr, it should be fine.

Re: SA
don't worry! My DH's insurance didn't cover it at all...it was 100% OOP; it was only $150.

Re: SA
Def call your insurance company and also call the labs. My dr told me to bring it to Sunrise Labs----but then I found out that only 1 of their locations does the SA. It's strange---aside from the RE's office, few places do them and they seem to have strange hours.

Re: SA
DH had it done at a Quest lab, they take our insurance.
The only bad thing about it was we had to wait a month for an appt b/c they only schedule one drop off a day @ 9am.

Re: SA
We had this problem also that we had to go to quest in Syosset and it was not convenient for us so we are just going to have it done at the RE office. They have a lab there.

Re: SA
My DH went to a urologist in Smithtown - Dr. Schoor I think. Everything seems to have been covered by my insurance. My DH just paid the regular copay.
