Spinoff to eating eggs
Just for fun...want to share some wacky things you have been told for TTC? I am the first to admit that sometimes no matter how wacky it sounds it just might work so please don't take offense.
Mine has got to be the eggs since no one else seems to have ever heard this before.

How about, if you sleep with baby booties under your pillow you will get pregnant?

If i don't get PG this month, I vow to try all the Old Wives Tales next month! It will be fun and keep it all from being redundant!
My list so far:
Eat eggs
buy baby booties
Head stand
Barilla pasta

I don't know if it's considered an old wives tale, but this month I took robitussin and after BD sat on a pillow with my legs up. If I don't get my BFP this month next month I will add in eggs, booties and probably end up standing on my head after BD

i am not 100% how true the mucinex thing is, but i was really sick back in feb and was taking it bc my dr told me too to help with the congestion and i ended up with a bfp that month

Oh- I forgot to add I also drank green tea and switched from 1% milk to whole milk. Every little bit helps, right?

Here is the list that I have heard for aiding in fertility:
Robitussin/Mucinex
Carrots
put your legs up in the air after BD
Salmon for Omega 3s
Evening Primorse Oil
Men should eat celery for their sperm
Pre-Seed
Green Tea
Thats it, I think. he only one onhere that seems valid for fertility is the robitussin/mucinex.
I was silly enough to do the legs up in the air thing....and got the worst UTI of my life.

I am staying off the Mucinex and robitussin because the one month I used it I had an anovulation cycle. I know it was probably not the cause, but now I don't want to use them. But I did just buy some Salmon!

LOL, this summer I "borrowed" many babies socks, but I was told to put it in my sock drawer, maybe I will move them to under my bed! I also need to find my St. Gerard card and medal (DH lost them  )

My girlfriends 82 year old grandmother told me to do this.
She also said that if all the other advice she had given me didn't work then to go out with DH, get drunk and go at it like bunnies. She said it worked for her other granddaughter.

I though these were HYSTERICAL!
For a boy:
Allow your husband to seduce you into sex first.
Be a worrywart.
Dad – drink lots of sodas
Eat red meat and salty snacks (such as pretzels)
Have intercourse at night.
Have intercourse on the odd days of the month.
Have “standing” intercourse.
Have intercourse when there is a quarter moon.
Have intercourse with you on your belly and your husband on your back.
(Here’s a good one) Sleep to the left of your husband.
Make sure your husband climaxes first.
Point your head to the north while having intercourse.
Stay on your back after intercourse to give the “boy” sperm a chance to get to the egg.
Warm up his testicles.
For a girl:
Both of you should eat fish and vegetables.
Eat chocolate – (this would be a cinch for me – however I do have a son also!)
Have intercourse during a full moon.
Have intercourse in the afternoon.
Have intercourse with the man on top. (Another wives tale says for the woman to be on top)
Seduce your husband.
Stay calm and cool to conceive a girl.
You climax first and think pink.
Crazy stuff...
