Hello!
Hi everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself…my name is Melissa and I’m due September 24th! 
I had two early misses this past year, so I decided to wait to share the news until I got the “go ahead” from my doctor, so here I am at about 12w…nervous, but ready to join you! 
If you don’t mind, here’s my first question: I’m 12w5d based on my LMP; however the baby has been measuring about a week behind since the first of my 3 sonos…would you say you’re 11w5d or 12w5d? I’ve been saying 12 since it makes me feel better, but I’m not so sure that’s right anymore lol Thanks!

First of all - congratulations!! And welcome.
As for how far a long you are - I would go with the 12w 5 days - especially if it makes you feel better.

Welcome and congrats!!! I would go by the gestational age for you EDD rather than your LMP, it is more accurate.

Thank you all soooo much!!!
Jess, my doc & the sono tech always ask me "so when was your LMP?" I tell them & they go "Oh..ok. So 12w..." and that's it. Then I look at my sono pics and they all have the date that's a week earlier, so I don't know lol I guess the smart thing to do would be to remember to actually ask them to clarify when I'm there, but I've been happy to do what Patricia says & stick with the later date so far

Thanks! It was hard at times, but I kept strong & could have probably waited another week or two! I still can't believe that we're telling people! I've been so scared to do it, but my dh outed me on FB today, so I guess it's time

so farging annoying!!!!!! I currently have 3 dates (date based on her size, my original date & the gd will force a week early date) - so i feel your pain....
I agree...go with the one that makes you warm & fuzzy! it's just an estimate anyway - every doc tells me - the due date doesn't matter at all anyway...
