Advice? Edited on bottom - spoke to my Dr...

Today is CD 30 - I have gone this far without major AF symptoms and thought I may have been in the clear to consider myself officially "late" - and didn't test at all except for last week when I had a slip from my club!

So, of course, tonight, after I go to the bathroom, I wipe and see some very light brown. I put in a tampon for a few minutes and saw some mucusy brown staining on it - sorry TMI.

Nothing is flowing - but here's the thing - I am having REALLY bad abdominal cramps - like gas pains. They do not feel like when AF is coming - that heavy pressure feeling - more like someone is twisting me inside - would say on a scale of 1-10 - a 3-4 on the pain scale - mildish, but nothing I ever experienced before.

Should I be at all concerned about this? Or is this my body just coming up with new ways to F_ck with my mind???

it sounds like AF is coming. If she isn't here in full force tomorrow, then take an HPT.

I agree with the PP. That happens to me too sometimes before AF arrives.

See, I thought AF was coming, but I don't have that pressure in my lower abdomen when she comes - in fact - it feels like nothing is happening. Like nothing is coming....

The pain went away, thank goodness, because it was scaring me. I checked this morning, and so far nothing.

If no more spotting happens today, I will test tonight...

I would just test at your next opportunity for FMU. I'm not saying that because I am a POAS addict-if it is CD 30 (CD 31 if you wait until tomorrow), it wouldn't be considered too early to test and it would pretty much settle it one way or the other instead of torturing yourself trying to figure out the symptoms. If it is BFN, you can brace for AF (but hope it is a false negative).

So you didn't test this morning?

It's perfectly normal to have a month where AF comes with no symptoms beforehand.

Like PP said, I'd wait until the next opportunity for FMU before testing.

Thanks ladies - I tested NOT FMU - still BFN, so I'm sure she will come when she feels like it. I am sure i don't need FMU to test a few days late or even 1 day late, right?

I am getting very frustrated at how erratic my AF is all of a sudden - in the last 6 months or so - I have never been this late though, and I am feeling nothing but back pain and leg pain - no AF feelings.... Very annoying!

I called my doctor - they think it's weird that AF isn;t here yet and I'm feeling all these weird pains, and a BFN - so I will be going in tomorrow morning....

i am so sorry you are dealing with this..

i just went through this last month.. i was a week late.. and i was never this late with my cycles.. so i ended up going in and getting a sono and bloodwork.. i am sure they will do the same for you.. to ease your mind.. and see if there is anything going on in the sono..

its so frustrating.. i know exactly how you feel.. i hope you get some answers soon!
