Like on FF... when you hit "reply" - if you look below, instead of just seeing the one post that you clicked reply on.. you see ALL of the posts from that thread! I wish we had that so I could see what everyone said and just reply all at once!
Katie- YES.. 3 days. They are crazy! They basically drove straight through, one slept while the other drove... they only used the bathroom/ate when they stopped for gas!  They made it just in time for my birthday (When we first moved here)
That is how I did it with my Ex. We were 19 and spent 3 months driving around the country camping. We had to make it to San Diego for my nieces Christening, and we thought it was going to take us a week. So we just drove in shifts and made it in three days. AND we did not have air conditioning! We drove through the south and baked the whole time!
Oh no -- how did you do that without AC

I have lived all over the place. I lived in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New Jersey, and now Nashville.
I always want to come home to New York. Hopefully my DH will get a job in NY when he graduates, but who knows with this economy and with the industry we work in.
What is your DH doing now? I used to love NY-especially the city-living in the city ruled, but I think DH would have strangled me. It wasn't until I started progressing with the RA that I realized I couldn't do NY. The weather changes are bad for me.

He is going to Vanderbilt for his MBA. We both work in the Entertainment industry, so there is more work in L.A then there is in New York, but my DH is moving into the financial end of Entertainment, so there is a good chance it could be New York.
There is also a chance for international move. If we move i want Spain or Greece, but there are some other options on the table.
I can totally understand how the cold would get to you. I know that the cold has done a number on my back this winter, so i can only imagine what you went through.

what part do you live in?
I live near Charlotte.
MAM-I would say we like it a lot-not love it though. If I could like in Ashville or someplace like that I would probably love it, but we need to be near Charlotte. I do love the downtown area of Charlotte though-a very nice city though soooo small.

Greece would be sooo nice though! I know some greek from an ex. His grandmother only spoke Greek, so I was able to learn a little
