What's everyone doing this weekend?
I have to drive back to Nashville tomorrow morning.  I don't want to leave New York!
How long is that drive?
It is about 14 hours. We are not stopping except for gas. I make sandwiches and pack snacks so we don't even have to stop for food. My DH has classes starting on Monday so we have to get back.
DH and BIL drove from NY to San Diego in like 36 hours! 
Good to know! My BFF moved there in September and I miss him

nothing to crazy this weekend--
my MIL is making me a birthday dinner and then my SIL is giving us her swing set so we have to go pick that up, and it's huige so i don't know how we're gonna do it--should be fun taking the whole thing apart and then putting it back together

What's the swing set for??
well she was getting rid of it --so we decided to take it cause we have so many nieces and nephews and nothing for them to do when they're here KWIM? and hopefully one day our kids will be using it
I thought it was either for that or kinky BDing 
Lori really doesnt have any nieces or nephews...you just blew her cover!!

You know what this board needs?
Like on FF... when you hit "reply" - if you look below, instead of just seeing the one post that you clicked reply on.. you see ALL of the posts from that thread! I wish we had that so I could see what everyone said and just reply all at once!
Katie- YES.. 3 days. They are crazy! They basically drove straight through, one slept while the other drove... they only used the bathroom/ate when they stopped for gas! They made it just in time for my birthday (When we first moved here)

This weekend, hopefully it will be warm enough here so I can get out and in the pool. We are going to see Confessions of a Shopaholic. Other than that, just relaxing and working on the house.

There is a spare bedroom. Only requirement is you have to be a Mets fan-oh wait you don't qualify-HAH! Just kidding-you can sleep in my spare room anytime

I have lived all over the place. I lived in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New Jersey, and now Nashville.
I always want to come home to New York. Hopefully my DH will get a job in NY when he graduates, but who knows with this economy and with the industry we work in.

That is how I did it with my Ex. We were 19 and spent 3 months driving around the country camping. We had to make it to San Diego for my nieces Christening, and we thought it was going to take us a week. So we just drove in shifts and made it in three days. AND we did not have air conditioning! We drove through the south and baked the whole time!
