Electric Bill Spinn Off - KWH Usage?

I am surprised by the variation in electric bills. I know each home is different and each family has different usage but it makes me wonder why we are on the higher end .

We (3 people) are in a late 1950's 3 br ranch, oil heat, appliances are on the older side everything is a least 10 years old, my dryer is older -(its avacado green so I am guessing 20 yrs old) until last week the house was empty the majority of the day. Last reading usage for 68 days was 1985 KHW or 29.19 KHW per day. Could the older appliances be causing that much of difference?

Ours range from 17kwh to 62kwh in the past year... 4 window A/C units helped with the 62kwh month...

I think we're averaging around 30-35, with spikes in some months.

We have one fridge that is very old (in the house when we moved in 13 years ago), and one new fridge. Gas heat. Old electric stove (13+ years). We had window A/C units.

This year will be different. CAC, bigger house, forced air heat, etc. I think the solar panels will cover everything, though. In the middle of winter, we're averaging around 18Kwh/day, and it's going to go up significantly in the summer.
