"healthy" hot dogs?
DD loves hot dogs, so I was trying to find some healthier ones. I bought Yves at Whole foods, but I thought they tasted gross and they didn't even look like a hot dog to me. Has anyone found anything else semi-healthy that DC likes?

I'm going to try those. I was looking on Peapod and found some turkey ones that are nitrate/nitrite free. Hopefully my grocery store will have them. Thanks.

We buy the turkey and chicken dogs by Applegate Farms.
We get them at Whole Foods.

Alex (and myself  ) really love the morningstar hot dogs - they look a little funky but the taste is pretty on target for a vegetarian hot dog.

Cailen loves Tofu Pups - even though you might not like them, she might! We fry it up in a pan, or heat them up in the oven - when he doesn't want anything else, he will always say yes to a hot dog!!!

Trader Joes carries the nitrate free ones...
and I also get Ballpark Turkey Franks which are fat free..(there are some unhealthy turkey frank brands out there)

boars head lite hot dogs, or hebrew national reduced fat (because there are no fillers) DD did not like turkey hot dogs :(
