Baptism.... CHECK!
so it's done. It is finally over. It's so hectic having 16 people over when there's a fussy baby! All he did all day is fuss and cry  He had to stay in a separate room from everyone else with Tato (daddy). But he slept through the ceremony, so at least that went well.
I love the swing pic.... that was when he was all fussy becuase of the 'people noise' and the church pic is so funny... look at him... he's completely passed out!  Image Attachment(s):

O man look at #2, Eryk looks like a porcelain DOLL!!!!!! Is DH's nickname "tato" like "Potato"????? OMG that's SO CUTE if so, I call DH spud sometimes.
Or is it a German word for daddy??

the poor boy is being raised to learn not only english, but also german (Oma... aka grandma, is primarily responsible for that) and POLISH! DH's family immigrated here about 15 years ago... english is seldom spoken at their get togethers. So Tato is polish for daddy  (I hope I'm spelling it correctly  I know only a little polish!!!!)
It might as well mean potato... we eat enough of them  but for full disclosure, it might be best to call him Piwo (beer )

That's AWESOME, he'll be trilingual! My BFF's 2 kids and their DOG understand Spanish, Croatian, and English!

Fr. Chuck is awesome! I have known him forever and he is going to baptise our baby in August. I just spoke to him last week!

Fr. Chuck is awesome! I have known him forever and he is going to baptise our baby in August. I just spoke to him last week!
his shawl was adorable... it was needlepoint... the pattern was a million little children  We felt so special that day... Eryk coincidentally was the only baby being baptized last weekend!
