LIPA Bills...
anyone notice that now when they send you a return envelope, WE now have to pay for postage??

Actually, no I haven't noticed that.....but I did notice my increase in my budget.....LOL 
Except for water, I pay all my bills online......so once I get the bill, I take it out and throw everything else away.

Yeah it was on the news not too long ago. National Grid is the same as well. It was that or raise your rates. This option saved them a LOT of money. I'm sure our rates will still increase though.

I pay online too so I don't have to worry about the postage. I also recieve e-statements so nothing even gets mailed to me - just an email notice that my bill is ready.

I don't ever remember LIPA having postage free envelopes, but then again, I've been paying online for years. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention.
Paying online is free and easy.

I just noticed this as well. The only reason I still mail them checks is because postage was free. Guess I'm switching to online bill pay for them too!
