Getting rid of stinky smell in washer
My dad's washing machine smells terrible. Is there a way to wash it out and get rid of the smell?

If it's a front loader I would clean out the rubber part in the front where the door closes, then run the cleaning cycle with bleach. I run the cleaning cycle every two weeks or so

Re: Getting rid of stinky smell in washer
have you tried running a wash with vinegar and baking soda in it to help kill the odor?
i've also heard of a produce called Affresh that is supposed to help get the smell out.
Online I saw something that is from smellywasher.com that is supposed to help the smell. But I would try the vinegar and baking soda first.
