In light of dd hospital stay

I really need to get some more medical info from her birth father. I found on facebook his current wife and his mother. Now who should i contact? Their ones to have never had any thing to do with her(DD) but this is really kind of important. I also found a current phone number and address(which i saved) that they have not given me and are required by the courts to at all times let me know where they are for these kind of situations.

so do i contact

his mother

or

his wife?

Re: In light of dd hospital stay

Other - why can't you contact him directly? Get the info 1st hand so you know it is accurate. Or even have the courts get it for you?

Re: In light of dd hospital stay

If the wife has a lot to do with the way he is then going to her may not be good. She may not be responsive or give you the help you need.

I would suggest going to the mother. If the mother does not respond then take it to the courts.

Well, I'd still try to contact him or have your lawyer contact his.

Honestly, I wouldn't contact his wife and his mother isn't really "involved"

Ok...
I voted mother but thats whithout any info...
Is his mom in kryssys life? What are the circumstances behind his mothers involvement?
If his wife hates you and you tell me his mom is bitter as well ...then you may need to get the contact of her father through the courts.

Re: In light of dd hospital stay

Bull crap. This is his DD too. Let him put on his big boy undies and deal with giving you a little info. Or like I said, have the courts do it.

If that is totally not an option either way, I would contact both. Chances are his mother knows more @ his medical history from his younger years and you can also get hers as well (in case of something that runs in the family) and his current wife would know more about anything he is going through right now.

Personally, I would avoid the other two and get the info straight from him so you know you have the full details on everything that he may not share with them. Good luck!Chat Icon

See but I think grandma is the least intrusive way. It would probably go smoother. BUT like I said...not sure if grandma is bitter as well.

Re: In light of dd hospital stay

I know the second i go to contact him or his wife , they will again change there info. I BY CHANCE found the info when i was looking for his wife's profile(ok yes i have looked it up before) found out her number and address and all (like a lot of people say here public site with A LOT OF personal info) DUHH you have your profile to private but have an event open with all your info right there Chat Icon sorry i just find it soooo funny.

as for his mother, she had some contact with dd till her birth father out right lied about the paternity test. yes he lied to his WHOLE family thinking he would get away with it. but that is a whole other story.

Re: In light of dd hospital stay

I would send him a certified letter with return receipt requesting the information. If he doesn't comply and you have to go the legal route, at least you have proof that you tried.

Oh yeah -totally!
and I would also send the certified like the girls said above.
Totally off topic...if he claims hes not the father why wouldnt he do paternity? and even if he lied grandma should be involved until she finds out kryssys not hers. And these were the days of our lives Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: In light of dd hospital stay

I think that going through the court might be your best option.

If you are in immediate need of information, then I would send a certified letter to all 3. Let them know that you have contacted all of them, because you are not sure how current the contact information you have for them is but because this is an urgent matter you decided to try all of them in hopes that at least one address was correct.

he tried to deny it.. but after the test he told everyone that it was negative, that he was not her father. i told his wife(one day), your the special ed teacher, with a 99.998 %, you do the math. he all of a sudden wanted the test because of her(wife). she was not to happy about all that.

as for going through courts i might not really have the time to do that. she needs to go to the cardiologist sooner not later.

You don't have to wait to take her to the doctor, make the appointment and get the ball rolling.

I agree with contacting all three of them. The mom is the one that would probably have more of the medical history but the legal burden is on the birthfather.

The other thing I would consider doing is inserting copies of the paternity test & the copy of the court decree with the portion highlighted where they are required to contact you.

I'm sure we can all proofread it for you if you need it.
