Doc visits in Third Tri

I'm over 26 weeks now so not yet into my 3 tri, but when do you start seeing the Doc every 2 weeks? Is it around week 30? Also, what do they usually do in the third tri?
I feel like in my first tri I got a sono at every visit and then after the ultrascreen at 19 weeks I haven't had one and haven't seen the Doc in about 3 or 4 weeks. Next appt is this Fri, but that's for the Glucose blood test.

my doctor told me tues that every 2 weeks starts at week 30. i can't believe how fast it is coming up! then starting at 36 weeks is every week.

After week 30 you start going every 2 weeks and after 36 weeks you go weekly....I think some Dr's have different policies based on High risk also..The appointments are pretty quick though!

I think every Dr. is different -
I had the 1st sono at 9 weeks, the ultrascreen at 12, the Level II at 20 .......and he won't give me another sono unless he thinks something is 'off' ........

As of my 30 week appt last week, I now have to go ever 2 weeks.
And at 36 weeks I go every week and begin 'pelvic exams'

i started bi weekly visits around 30 or 32 weeks and then started weekly visits at 37 weeks. i got my first internal at 37 weeks and have been getting them ever since.

Every 2 weeks starting at 30 weeks, then every week starting at 36. From now on they will be boring, quick appts. Urine sample, weight, bp, doppler to hear the HB and maybe measure your belly depending on the dr. Mine does that. You're usually in and out in like, 15 minutes.
