Are dollar Store tests accurate before AF is due, or only when you are late....

I'd say that if you get a + within the time limit specified in the directions, then yes it's accurate.
If you get a negative... then it's possible that it's too early.

ahhhhh.. the famous dollar tree tests!
well for me both times.. they didnt work before AF was due.. but i know some girls had much success with them!
i say why not try them.. this way you can save money !

Well, I caved. It was that stupid thing that happened this week that set this off, and bought a dollar test. i am due for AF tomorrow. It's negative. So, I'm assuming that means i'm out if they are accurate before AF is due. On the internet it says it can detect 25 mlu of HCG, which looks the same as EPT, so..... 
Outside of the off-chance of the "it's not over until AF shows" song and dance, I should probably mentally prepare myself for AF, huh?

i didnt go into the whole story .. but when i took the dollar tree test with my first pregnancy.. it didnt come up positive until a WEEK after AF was due  meanwhile i was getting all positives with the FRER..
i really think they work for some and not others.. i have heard many opposites with this test!
so just hang in there and dont give up! of course i am not giving you false hope.. but trying to keep you positive!!

Thanks D.... I'm not crazy upset. i had a feeling this would take a while for me. I just hate the NOT knowing. If I knew AF was coming I would buy my tampons and move on, KWIM. It's the maybe that I hate. Which is why i didn't want to start testing before AF, and I got myself caught in this stupid cycle again. That's why I'm frustrated.....

i hate the not knowing either.. its such a tease..

i only got super faint lines with those before AF (10DPO on...) if i hadn't gotten BFPs with other tests i might not have noticed.
after AF was due they got noticeably darker.
