Hospitals sending you home
I was having a discussion about how I got sent home when I was in labor due to me not being dialated the required 4 cm.
A colleague of mine said, that is because you delivered at a Bronx Hospital. They are famous for sending people home.
I know the majority of you are from LI, so was wondering, are your hospitals more flexible with admitting you?

Re: Hospitals sending you home
I was 3-4 when I arrived at the hospital and they sent me to go "walking". I actually had to sign a discharge paper. I went walking in the hallway with my mom outside the L&D unit and was back about 10 minutes later when I started bleeding. They finally admitted me and I was 5-6 CM.

Re: Hospitals sending you home
I don't know how dialated I was being my water broke and they decided to do a c-section based off a sono done within 2 hours of getting to the hospital. Either way, they were admitting me based off my bag (aka fluid) being almost gone). If I would have delivered vaginally I would have been induced and had a dry birth according to my doctors. When they opened me for my c-section, there was barely any fluid left
