ANOTHER F'ING Basal cell carcinoma!
I am posting here on parenting because you ladies have gone through this journey with me since the beginning.
finally got my results back from NYU, and I have another basal cell carcinoma. At least this is not the invasive morpheaform that I had on my cheek. This one is garden variety and I only hope they can take it out in one easy cut when they do the MOHS.
I'm so over this.
The dermatologist at NYU didn't think it was anything, the dermatological surgeon I saw 6 months ago didn't think it was anything....and it's not their fault that they didn't pick up on these, they are not presenting like cancers.
I had the photodynamic therapy to kill any potential cancers, but because this is close to my eye, they didn't put the medication on that spot...if they did, I would've seen that it was a cancer.
Oh well, at least not all four came back as cancer.
I actually feel a sense of relief, knowing what this is....I started having head games, thinking this was something deadly.
I have a consult with the surgeon at NYU first week of Feb. and then we will schedule the surgery.
