Daycare Cost
What is the average cost? Most of the daycares I'm calling for a baby is between $300 and $400. Is that about right?

Pregnant and looking for daycares in Sept for my little girl OR boy.

DDs daycare will be $1,200 (she's starting in Sept. at 13 months old)...They don't let do part time for that age because the crib they use is for one child only...so it's $300/wk...

I pay between $300-400 a week for an infant. I looked at quite a few places and that seems to be average.

I live in Chicago, so I can't help with the cost in your area. I just wanted to say that LI and NYC daycare is so cheap compared to here!!! We pay $1995/month!
