It's seriously SO beautiful here! I love to drive by the water every day...
I don't find it very brown at all! Much greener than NY, IMO of course!
I always loved the summer and hated the winter. I'm not a fan of snow at all and I hate cold weather.. so you can see why I love it here!
I love that I get the "surf forecast" in my daily news, I get better mileage on my car because it's all highways, people are much nicer, hardly ever rains and the sun is always shining! Too many things to name... I always say that if my family moved here, I'd never look back.
I've learned to make my own NY-style pizza, and get my deli food and good parm. cheese from Whole Foods!

These are the reasons I am not opposed to my move to Florida! I wont miss snow and ice!

Thats really awesome. I think about moving alot. Not to California b/c my reasons for moving would be to move somewhere cheaper, but I just never did it. Well, I think I would have and still would honestly, but DH wont. I know my parents would freak, but they could come too So its just you and DH? Well, i'm sure you have made alot of friends now, but as for family its just the 2 of you? I really admire that. It takes alot of courage.
Have you been to the Wild Animal Park? I love that place!

Nothing and I am so excited about it! I have off on Monday so I will probably just be hanging out. That is funny Are you guys doing the work yourself? We had someone come in to do the bathroom & kitchen since they both needed to be gutted, but we've been doing everything else...
The den & dining room used to have REALLY BAD 1970s wood paneling on them, so we took that down & had to replace a lot of sheetrock & all of the moulding...while doing that we found old termite damage & needed to repair all of that. It was such a big job in the end that we just stopped once all of the big stuff was done...we haven't done anything for MONTHS & it was really bugging me because it's all little stuff lol We're finally getting there now though! Do you guys have a lot left to do?
MY God.. that is insane... you guys are doing soo much.. It is so true that once you start in never ends there is always something to do.. And let me tell you that little stuff takes a lot of work... me and DH almost seperated after trying to put up crown moulding.. j/k... but I could have killed....Yes we are doing it ourselves and my dad and brothers are helping as well.. but it is a lot of work.

Aaaw - thanks for asking!!! My co-workers - who are also my greastest friends in the world - have set up a "birthday bar crawl" for us down here in Alexandria, Virginia after work tomorrow. It will be about 20 of us going to about 7 bars and ending the evening at this cheesey karaoke bar  It will be fun!
Chris and I are celebrating tonight - while we are both sober  - going out for a nice dinner and then coming home to watch a movie. My mom has the baby tonight and tomorrow so we are totally taking advantage of non-baby time... BY GETTING SLEEP!!!!!
