Aaaw - thanks for asking!!! My co-workers - who are also my greastest friends in the world - have set up a "birthday bar crawl" for us down here in Alexandria, Virginia after work tomorrow. It will be about 20 of us going to about 7 bars and ending the evening at this cheesey karaoke bar  It will be fun!
Chris and I are celebrating tonight - while we are both sober  - going out for a nice dinner and then coming home to watch a movie. My mom has the baby tonight and tomorrow so we are totally taking advantage of non-baby time... BY GETTING SLEEP!!!!!

We're staying in & working on the house all weekend! I told my dh we could only have our Super Bowl party if we finally finish all of the little bits in the kitchen, dining room & den (touching up paint, finishing installing the crown molding, etc). We sent out the evite yesterday, so we have to get cracking!!

Nothing and I am so excited about it! I have off on Monday so I will probably just be hanging out. That is so funny, we were supposed to have a super bowl party but we wouldnt be dont with all the odds and ends.. we just redid our kitchen and dining room... my GOD.. it took forever but we are almost there.. are you guys doing the work yourself?

MAM I just got a text from my SIL in San Diego from yesterday....it was my twin niece's doing their homework at the beach!!! Don't get me wrong I love the snow, its just this freezing cold weather that stinks.

Oooh you have off on Monday - that's so nice! I have the option of taking off, but I need to work so that I can save the day for when my niece visits in April 
That is funny Are you guys doing the work yourself? We had someone come in to do the bathroom & kitchen since they both needed to be gutted, but we've been doing everything else...
The den & dining room used to have REALLY BAD 1970s wood paneling on them, so we took that down & had to replace a lot of sheetrock & all of the moulding...while doing that we found old termite damage & needed to repair all of that. It was such a big job in the end that we just stopped once all of the big stuff was done...we haven't done anything for MONTHS & it was really bugging me because it's all little stuff lol We're finally getting there now though! Do you guys have a lot left to do?

Well tonight DH is getting home early so I am making a Low-fat Beef Barley stew for dinner. Perfect for this cold weather. Tomorrow I have school all day and then work tomorrow night. Saturday I am taking DS to a b-day party for my friends daughter and work tomorrow night. Sunday...not sure, probably just take it easy. In other words, nothing too exciting. Wish I was doing a bar crawl

I know most people in San Diego think its the most wonderful beautiful place on earth and it is really nice, but I always thought i'd miss the big green trees and lawns and the way the trees look in the fall. It always feels very brown to me there. I personally would miss the snow b/c I love the snow. My SIL's father thinks I must be mentally ill because I like living in NY. I'll have to rmember to ask him next time if he has ever been here.  My brohter misses Deli's, Pizza and black and white cookies oh and good parmegian cheese
