Is doing a one day pass @ Disney worth it?
Off to Florida in a month 1/2- Cant wait!
DD will be 22mths, and my inlaws are in Stuart which is about 2hrs from Disney.
we are thinking about doing a day trip to Disney- Magic Kingdom but I hear that its costly that way, since they offer better rates for 2/3/4 day passes to the other parks.
Any experience? or know of rates etc.
4 adults and one child under 2. I think she would enjoy it too and well its Disney, we would love it.

Well, I think kids are free til 3, so that is a plus.
We are kind of thinking of doing the same thing b/c MIL lives in Ocala which is about an hour away...so I am curious to see your responses.
Sorry, couldn't help more!

Only the adults would have to pay. Since your in laws live in Florida I believe that residents get discounted rates. You should have them look into that. And yes, more than one day passes make the cost less per day, but if you're not going to spend a few days or just go for a day and half, then you're better off doing the one day pass and trying to get the most out of that day. You can also look into buying the passes that never expire. They are a little more expensive then getting the consecutive day passes, but if you plan to go once a year it may be worth it.

Not sure how the resident charge vs. regular charge for a ticket works but it might be worth considering...that and Gianna is free!

Nope and if you do, I'd love to hear about it! It is soooooooo boring in Ocala and that's why we want to do it.

saw that it would cost $270 for 4 adults.
Isnt there a senior citizen discount too? for my inlaws?
I need to do my research.

Kids under 3 are free to get into the park (and if you eat at a buffet or family style they are free too - but you will have to pay for a drink if you order them something). So you would only have to pay for adults.
There are florida resident discounts, AAA discounts (you have to get your tickets thru AAA), etc.

The unexpired tickets are a great way to save money for the future if you know you are going to go back.
