he gave me a book but it made me feel uncomfrotable. i hve NO idea why either. it was just a really dumb gift.
he always gets me things like for HIM.
i.e. lingerie... that makes me feel FAT or this book for example, i would NEVER have picked it out.
and tehn i ask if he even got me a card and he said yes but he hasnt filled it out yet.
im just really dissapointed because thre is something ive been waiting for him to get me and i was SURE he got it for me for today and he didnt.
he said he didnt get it cause we dont really have $, yet he wants to not only go out for dinner, but for lunch and drinks too. now, does THAT make sense?

I dunno spending the whole day (vday or not) sounds like a good deal to me. Dh has school tonight and I haven't seen him since Sunday night.
I got him a little soemthing but we don't really expect anything from each other. Dinner would be great though!

Nope- tonight. But DH (who never remembers V-day) woke up this morning and came up to me, kissed me and said Happy Valentines Day.
We just got back from Miami so no gifts- but I told him I want a card and candy hearts.

we're not exchanging anything. We did give each other a great big Vday hug though  
we were still going to give each other cards, but were both home sick, and neither one of us is in any shape to go out... so we're doing fine just knowing that we love each other
