When does OB start checking for dilation and effacement?
DH was wondering if OB is gonna check the cervix he has a feeling something is happening down there and he isnt experiencing the the pain and all. I havent even told him half of what i feel. He just has this funny feeling. He is too much

Not all OB's do vaginal exams before you are in labor because they don't indicate anything.
You could be 3 cm dilated for 3 weeks or be 0 cm dilated and go into labor 4 hours later....
