I heard from the doc...
I am officially pregnant, but my beta # was low at a 40. They want me back for more blood work on Thursday.
Is this a decent number for this early in the game?

How far along do you think you are? That's not bad if you're just pregnant - but the important thing is that the numbers double in a couple of days.

That is VERY early.
The most important thing is that the numbers double approximately every 48 hours.

That is SOOO early. Some people don't even get a + HPT at that point so I honestly don't believe 40 is anything to worry about. Hang in there for your next beta!!
