Boo Sunrise Mall Santa!
I had plans to take my 3 to their annual Santa pic at the Source Mall. My oldest was misbehaving so badly, I got fed up and left him home with my DH and took my 2 younger ones closer to home to the Sunrise Mall Santa. My DD who is 4 1/2 had a whole list she wanted to show Santa. It was a very ambitious list and painstakingly put together but I put a giant staple in the corner and let her take it bc she really wanted to.
We go and wait behind 2 people and it's finally their turn and she walks in and hands it to him and I said "she wants to show you her Christmas list - we know you can't bring everything" he just sort of shoved it in the side of the seat cushion and wanted the kids on his lap. Fine, I took it and figured let them take the pic and she could show it to him. He just got up and walked away. She was standing there holding it. WT eff? Even my 2 1/2 year old noticed which makes it clearly bizarre bc he said "where'd Santa go?"
He better have had to pee bc if I saw him outside smoking I would have told him off. I complained to the people who looked at me like I was insane.
If the 6 yr old earns it, we are back with Source Santa later this week.

 How horrible! 
As much of a pain it is to get down there, I still go to the Source Mall Santa. He is very nice and had a long talk with Andrew. I hope you have better luck with him!

Aww what a jerk!
My FIL is a mall santa and takes as much time as he needs with each kid (within reason) - nothing like spoiling it for a kid!

i am very disappointed with that santa too!!!!
i was there with DS and DH last week. He was soooooo NOT friendly!! And everyone who i showed my pic too has had the same exact comment - "what a creepy looking santa!"

I'm so sorry! We had an opposite experience though - the day we went (Friday 12/5), Santa was very nice and friendly and took his time with our 7 month old.
I guess he has good days and bad days...
