Was anyone really nervous when they found out?
They were PG? I am more nervous that the tests are wrong! I am going Wed for my confirmation but I guess because AF isn't late yet and I got my BFP that I am not really pregnant or that it is going to change! I have taken 7 tests to keep confirming I am pregnant!!! I am making myself crazy...I keep worrying that something will happen like the chemical pregnancy...

Yes, I was very nervous, because I had, one loss from a natural cycle last year, and then a loss after going through IVF. So after getting my BFP again after my 2nd IVF I was so nervous about something going wrong.

I am sure I would be too!!! Should I still be testing or just leave it alone and wait till I go on Wed?!?!? I am making my self a basket case.

I was very nervous, my AF is now officially a week and a half late. I am 5 weeks and 2 days. I went to the doctor the day of my BFP and had a blood test. Don't worry, the tests don't lie. Keep your chin up.....

I was nervous too at first. Felt like it wasn't real. I felt better after I spoke to the doc, and she confirmed everything.

Step away from the tests!!!!!!
If they're positive, you're pg. End of story....trust me, after this you're going to worry every day. You're going to worry that you're nauseous, crampy, tired, etc. Then you're going to worry because you're NOT nauseous, crampy, tired, etc. It never ever ever ends. So try to at least not worry yet.

You're going to worry that you're nauseous, crampy, tired, etc. Then you're going to worry because you're NOT nauseous, crampy, tired, etc. It never ever ever ends. So try to at least not worry yet.
LOL thanks girls!!! I can't even count how much money I've spent on tests AFTER I got my BFP!! I will just try to relax from here!

Mia, everything is going to be fine!
One faint positive is the same as three dark positives! Save yourself the money and the stress and be happy with this news! I know exactly how you are feeling and you just need to move on to the next step and accept the fact that we are about to become the size of a small house in less than a year!!!

Yes! I was the exact same way. I worried that the test was defective, that I might be seeing things, you name it. Even after I saw the dr. I took another test. I think I took 6 tests all together.

Yup I was very nervous!! Still to this day it doesn't feel like it but thank god I rented the doppler because now I can hear the heartbeat when I want to hear it to confirm oh yeah I am Pregnant!

SOO nervous! anyone who says otherwise isn't being honest LOL....this was a totally planned pregnancy..we TTC'd after a m/c 2 yrs ago....so for the first trimester I was a nervous wreck..especially after getting the "Its twins" news..i thought for sure my body wasn't strong enough for 1 nevermind2....but 25 wks later we are all stil going strong!....the nerves start to calm down as you get to see the heartbeat and keep updating the growth.....its amazing

Yes I was! Just got married in October :) Thanks for the congrats and the soothing words! It is really helpful to hear other peoples stories. I am so looking forward to the "house" reference

The nervousness goes away as your pregnancy progresses, but I personally still have a hard time *believing* I am pregnant. It takes A WHILE for it to sink in. I think that even once I have the kid, I'll be like.. what just happened???

Mia, we are in the exact same boat. Just got married on 9/27, and honestly cannot believe that I could be PG this fast. I ended up taking 4 different types of tests, and of course they were all positive. I went to the dr. last night and got the confirmation from him. My blood pressure was so high because I was nervous. The nurse was really nice and just told me to breathe. I have my first sono on 12/30...I imagine I will be a wreck that day as well. If you ever need to talk...I am here!!!

haha mia i tested again this morning {test #5} I cant believe it either!!!
i have to wait until the 24th.
I am soooo tired. I dont know if its bc I'm pregnant or its in my head.

Absolutely. I must have taken about 7 or 8 tests. Like someone above said, relax and enjoy the fact that you are pregnant!
That doesn't stop me from worrying about the what-ifs though...I hate that.
