Xmas getting you down?
We are so broke, I am seriously dreading the holiday this year! I can't even seem to be able to finish my registry PLUS we just got hit with a $500 VET bill, both dogs are seriously sick! One with a bad eye infection and one with a horrible throat infection!!!!
Everytime we turn around it's something else!!!!!! GRRRRRR

I hear ya. Especially knowing we may need to dip into our savings for a couple months.......We are also going to try to limit our holiday spending as much as possible and I am sure our families will understand......I have to take one of my pugs to the vet on Saturday because she has a strange bump on her foot that looks infected. I hope it's nothing serious at all...........

I am sooooo not prepared for Christmas this year. Mostly because I am due on Christmas Eve, so I dont know where I will be this holiday. I am hoping to have her early, but you never know.
I am trying to tell everyone how we're cutting back on buying gifts this year! Besides the fact that I'm too uncomfortable to shop anymore!

I'm so friggin exhausted. Christmas is my most FAVORITE holiday/time of the year, and I have no desire for anything this year. All I want is my baby  . I can care less about gifts and STILL have not started Christmas shopping.

oh i hear ya!! DH and I are not going crazy this year with gifts. we wish we could but now that we have a baby on the way we need to be careful on what we spend on. i have to say tho DH isnt doing a good job about not spending he just brought me a new nikon camera but he says its for the babys birth it could of waited then the baby isnt due till aug lol

X-Mas could never get me down- I'm so freakin excited!! I'll be driving down to NC (which is going to suck being that I'll be 32/33 weeks pregnant), but I can't wait to see my family!! I also started X-Mas shopping in Oct which def helped financially- didn't feel it as much!

this is how I feel. I have been so down because I am sick all the time and exhausted. I normally love Christmas and its really bugging me that I am not able to enjoy it this year

Yes, but not just for the financial reasons. This is the first Christmas I will not have my loud, crazy sometimes annoying Italian family around...And It SUCKS! It is just going to be DH, my brother and his 2 kids. Such a change. I cant even fly home (past my cutoff) to be there.

I'm actually not dreading Christmas this year b/c I'm more focused on the baby and not thinking about plans w/ my dreaded ILs
And I'm hosting a big holiday party @ our house next weekend, which I'm excited to prep for too !!

I know exactly how you feel. I lost my job a month ago and DH's hours have been cut majorly. He doesn't seem concerned but our savings are slowly dissapearing. I have anxiety over this everyday. I wish I was little again!

Lucky you - My mother rallies me and my sister every year to make them .........roll, cut, roll, cut, roll, cut - it's a special kind of torture !!!

OMG we have been having pet issues also!
We decided awhile back we weren't going to give holiday gifts this year. We told both our families, and they are fine with it. With the expenses of the babies, plus the fact I am pretty sure I will be delivering right around then, and I have been on bed rest for the past 4 weeks, buying gifts for people is honestly really low on our priority list this year. The families understand. Next year we will do more.

Haha!! i am dreading the belly touching and talking to of the in laws.. and dont forget the kiss goodbye my belly gets... I am hoping to be having a non-bloated day and maybe... just maybe.. my belly wont be so tempting...
Other than that.. I dread spending moeny on gifts for people... my family isnt doing gifts.. my parents are taking me, DH, my bro and his wife to Vegas for 5 days.. and we all decided the time together would be gift enough.. so at least we have reprive with that one.. I am trying to tutor and chaperone as much as I can to pay for DH's side of the families gifts...
