Why are maternity shirts so ugly?!?!
I've accumulated 10 pairs of maternity pants but now my regular shirts are not fitting.
Where are you buying your shirts from?
I'm thinking I'm going to try buying larger sizes of regular clothing because I can't find any maternity shirts that I like.

I've gotten two sweaters at Target. I've also gotten a few maternity shirts from H&M and Gap Maternity. For the most part I like clothes that hug my figure (and belly).

I personally started loving maternity tops once I began filling them out. My problem is that I'm carrying extremely high (ie, right under the boobs). This is what everyone keeps telling me. Therefore, I have an extremely hard time finding tops long enough. GRRR
So far, Motherhood has been the best for tops for me. I've tried Old Navy, Gap, Target, but for the prices, Motherhood works best for me (except for jeans, swear by Old Navy for those)

I got them mostly at motherhood. I also have a few from Target. What kind of shirts are you looking for?

I got a lot of tops at sears and penneys and they fit nice.
i actually bought a couple of stretch tops from forever 21 and they look adorable!

i got alot of really cute tops from ann taylor loft maternity. not all of the ann taylor lofts have that dept but check out the ones that do.....their tops are really nice.

Maternity clothing in general is pretty hideous - unless you're shopping @ Pea in a Pod for everthing !! -
I have had luck @ the Gap for my staple winter sweaters - Nothing too boxy and frumpy looking - Cute cardigans, fitted turtlenecks - the stuff I'd normally wear, just built to stretch w/ my stomach !!
- Also, babystyle.com has so really nice things. - I bought a few very nice dresses from there -
I have to get dressed up for work every day - My suit pants were fine w/ the bella band for awhile, but I'm more comfortable in a dress -
I also can not find maternity pants to save my life !!!

I do agree with this. I don't know why, but they always pick quite loud patterns for plus size and maternity clothes!!!

Gap maternity is the same as their regular clothes, but sized for pregnancy.

I never really liked a lot of what was out there and just stuck with basics. My absolute favorite are these long-sleeved ribbed tee's-- they are tight and grow with you by Maternal America-- and they will go with everything. They will have them at boutiques and online.
Then I also like the Gap seamless tank. I wear these all the time under things and with cardigan like sweaters, etc.

I'm trying to find shirts I can wear to work (business formal) and shirts I can wear for social meetings.
I've been winging it on the weekends with sweatshirts and some of DH's clothes.

Granted there are a lot of funky loud shirts out there but I have found a bunch of cute ones that don't make you look like a tent. My favorite are the ones that are rouched on the sides in solid colors. They give you such a nice shape.

Same here. The long sleeve maternity tees that they have are light but are perfect with a sweater over them. I do like Kohl's maternity, even though the selection is small.

im hoping to never actually need maternity shirts!!  im a very petite person and have been wearing (im embarrased to say ) Childrens XL in most of my tops it really saves me tons of $$$.. so im hoping to just bump up to an adult med/large when the time comes. maternity clothes are just so expensive and ugly is right. and possibly barrow some from my cousin if needed. i will buy if needed but im hoping to avoid it!
