what time does your 3 YO go to bed?
We're having sleep issues here....she's waking up in the middle of the night on a regular basis.

DD will be 3 in March but since she stopped napping a few months ago, she is in her crib and usually full asleep by 7:30...
But I am planning on switching her to a bed very soon, hope it goes smooth!
Did Aly just start in a bed?

We start bedtime at 7pm and we finish at about 7.45, I can ususally hear him singing Spongebob Squarepants until about 8.30.
I usually have to shake him awake at 7.15 am, left to sleep, he will sleep until about 8 am.
Its a good thing.

no, she's been in her twin bed for quite some time now.
we also have to lay down with her until she falls asleep...she's got this thing with playing with ears when she's tired.
she does still take a nap...sometimes it's a good one, and sometimes a not so good one

Between 7-7:30 everynight, anything later he is BEASTLY the next day and/or we have many interruptions at night.
He naps daily from 12:30-2:30/3 as well.
ETA- I picked a bed time, and a routine and stuck to it no matter what. Some nights he challenges me, but I cant give in.
He takes a bath, watches half an hour of TV, I read him a book,he read me a book, and I rub his back...

Does she fall back to sleep easily after she wakes in the middle of the night?
At least you guys are still getting naps! I get no naps and I'm lucky if she sleeps until 7!

yes...EVERY night we have to lay with her and for naps too. And each time she wakes, she toddles into our room, to my side, and says she wants me to cuddle with her. I then go lay with her until she falls asleep again (and sometimes I do too)
maybe I'm putting her down too late? but every time we try to put her to bed earlier, we just end up laying there longer until she falls asleep the same time she does every night. Some nights she doesn't fall asleep till almost 10

I can't stress how much I agree with this!!! This is the most important part of having a successful sleeper in my opinion.

I can't stress how much I agree with this!!! This is the most important part of having a successful sleeper in my opinion.
I agree.
What would happen if you had her go to sleep alone? would she freak?

She goes to bed--and always has--by 8pm. However, for the past several months, she's been waking up anywhere from 1 to 5 times through the night.
Yeah, last night was 6 actually.  She goes to bed with a classical music CD on and when that goes off after 35 minutes she calls out, "I want my radio and my blankets back o-on!" in this sing-song voice...ugh! We tried teaching her to cover herself, we threated no radio...nothing has worked. It's like a crap shoot every night. I think last night she may have been hungry--she barely ate anything at dinner. At least she goes right back down...

DD is 2.5 and has been waking in the middle of the night for months now. we were battling it out returning her to her bed but then due to sleep deprivation finally gave up (i was pregnant). with potty training and a new baby in the mix we have still to address the issue, so even though DD#1 gets to bed anywhere from 8:30-10:00 (depending on naps taken and at what time)  she winds up in our bed at some point during the night.
DD used to be a 7:30-8:00 baby, but when summer hit and days got longer she just started going to bed later and later. DH also works late so she was waiting up for him as he was helping out with bath time while i was pregnant.
i am hoping bedtime will go back to an earlier time once naps are gone, but i don't think she's ready to give those up yet. she's not consistent with them, but does crash when need be...
sorry, no help here...
