Had my 1st sono yesterday!!
All went well and the woman took so much time on me.
I got 2 really cool pics with the heartbeat scan and all...YES we saw a flicker and she then asked my husband and kids in the room. She turned up the volume and we heard the heartbeat. I still can't get over how amazing it!!!
She said that I have that corpus leatuem cycs from where the egg was released which she likes to see because that usually means a good pregnancy!!!
Never heard that but I'll take it. LOL
I am measuring 6 weeks 4 days altough if you go from my LMP I should be 7 weeks 4 days. I know I ovulate really late though on a 30 to 36 day cycle.
I'll try and scan and post pic later.

Never heard that but I'll take it. LOL
I had my 1st sono on Mon and the tech said something very similar to me. I wish I listened closer, I was too focused on watching the screen to really hear what she was saying.

I am so excited for you!!! I can't wait to go for my first sono... I am 5 weeks now, so hopefully I will have mine soon. I want to do the same thing with my husband and daughter and call them in when we hear the heartbeat. Definitely post pics when you can!!

Thanks everyone!!
I had to drink about 32 oz of water before hand. She saw the flicker on the outer ultrasound and took a bunch of measurements. She did this for awhile.
She told me to empty my bladder and did the internal. IMO so much easier!!! Why do they make us drink all that water so we feel so uncomfortable when you get to see so much more the other way.
