Stetch Marks
Hi Ladies,
I got out of the shower this morning and looked in the mirror and the lovely linea nigra has appeared. I'm already a bit traumatized with all the changes to my body, so I want to be prepared for the arrival of strech marks.
So my question is...when did your first stretch mark appear?

Unless I'm blind, I don't have any yet at 30 weeks. But....there's a good possibility I'm blind.

I got my first one around 25 weeks or so. After that they were like weeds. I hate looking at my bare tummy now. I never got a linea negra though, although I guess there is still time.
ETA: Even though I don't like to look at them, the stretch marks are totally worth it for my  and  . I read somewhere to think of them as pregnancy tattoos!

almost 30 weeks and no stretch marks yet, knock on wood. I dont know if the cream is helping, but i put it on faithfully everyday!

Thanks ladies.
I'm just about 18 weeks. I slather on belli elasticity oil a few times a day, but I'm not getting my hopes up of avoiding stretch marks b/c my mothers stomach looks like a road map. Oh well.

I saw my first at 36 weeks - they aren't very big and I'm hoping they don't get much bigger!
I haven't put any lotion on or anything ...I should probably do that....

27 weeks and still no stretch marks. I'm hoping they will never appear, but who knows. I do have the linea Nigra line.

I can't remember when the stretch marks began to show, but I did notice that the left side of my belly has more than the right. I always knew that DD loves that left side. I never developed the linea nigra.

I started to get the line, very faint on the bottom only a few days ago 14 weeks.
Stretch marks on my boobs.. about 10 weeks. COVERED in them now , 15 weeks but, only on my boobs. None on the belly yet. But if the "girls" are any indication.. they are coming!

I don't know if it's coincidence but I got mine around 36 weeks the next morning after not putting on Palmer's butter cream the night before! :(
My Mom and sisters all have them but it was alot worse with my mom 'cus she had 6 kids...
The marks are located below the belly button and remind me of thin vericose veins. The sono technician said they don't really look that bad and will probably turn white and be quite faint if they don't get any more stretched.
Slather on the cocoa cream now before you sleep everynite! Moisturing your tummy will help ease the itchiness and may even limit the amount of marks you get if you are prone to them.

Every morning I examine my belly to see if I have them. I have some from when I lost weight as a teenager, so I think I may be prone to them. I lather the cocoa butter on twice a day to prevent them though! I really hope I don't get them!!!!

I am just about 38 weeks and I dont have any stretch marks...but I guess I'll see what the next 2 weeks bring!
